I’m also going to ask you, why you didn’t watch Hollywood’s biggest night of the year. It’s actually a question whose answer tells us a lot about the state of the film and television industry and pop culture in general.

Anyway, I did the hard work and watched the Oscars for you. The 97th Academy Awards ceremony – please note, I will refer to them simply as the Oscars henceforth - took place on Sunday at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
It was a tedious affair with some moments of fun and interest both on the red carpet and on stage.
